Now that we have that established, the Olympics are a lot of fun, especially the Winter Olympics.
You did not think the hockey was fun to watch? You did not think it was better than what you see most of the time?
Yes, I do think the hockey was fun to watch, but I think NHL hockey is more fun to watch.
NHL hockey is more physical, more violent, which does add to the fun factor.
A lot of the olympics are dumb sports though. Like curling. Or the marathon.. I can't think of anything more boring then watching a marathon.

If Stastny continues to decline, Steps could make it over him.
Although I think we just might see Galchenyuk in 2014, if we're talking about young centers.

It's going to be
Sweden: Lundqvist, Hagelin
Canada: Nash, Staal
USA: McDonagh, Callahan
Slovakia: Gaborik
And I think Stepan is 50/50 for the USA squad but I'd probably lean towards yes.

Even if gaborik has a terrible year, I think he would still make the cut for slovakia's team easily. He probably wouldn't make team canada though.

I can't believe anyone doubts Nash will be on Team Canada -- he plays great hockey in a Canadian jersey.

Slovakia have a crazy mix of élite talent and no depth. Fun team to watch.

Last year Marc Crawford, who has coached team Canada in the past picked Staal and Del Zotto (LHD where Canada is thin). Ferraro picked Staal and Girardi. Del Zotto used to play with Pietro before their OHL days.
Gabby, Hank, Cally, and Nash are locks. McD might as well be, and Step might sneak in there, especially if he and Cally keep clicking. Hag's speed and play should help him make the cut.

In what world does a healthy Gaborik not make Slovakia?
Also, I would take Toews, Crosby, Stamkos, Tavares, etc. all over Nash, per that debate.

Stastny has been an extremely important player for Colorado so far this year.

Rick Nash takes 13 shots a game though.

I give money to the NHL and the Rangers. If one of our players got injured because of some jingoistic ******** exhibition game, I'd be pissed.

I'd say there's a pretty good one. Him and Laviolette have to be the frontrunners, I'd think.
