Stepan and MDZ are good passers, however, neither of them are in the same group as Richards, Gabby and Zuke imo.
MDZ and Stepan excel with passes in odd-man situations. Zuccarello specializes in offensive zone possession, seeking out the right play and making the pass no one expects, while Richards and Gabby can really do both.
If Zucc wasn't so limited physically he could be a real force in this league.

Unfortunately, that is true. There is a reason why players like St. Louis are few and far between. Zuccarella's limitations physically are never going to allow for him to be a regular player, I believe.
