One possible scenario for the Blues is there may be interest in moving up into the late 1st round by packaging the 33rd overall pick and another pick (or something else) if a team in the 22-30 range is interested in moving back a bit and getting another valuable pick or piece in excahnge for dropping 5-10 spots.

For teams in that range, let me know in advance so we can discuss a scenario whereby we might do a deal.

I also might trade back from any one of those picks, depending how the board looks, so feel free to reach out to discuss that scenario as well.
Ummmm...how did you get the 33rd? Isn't that the Devils pick?

Sorry, Rich, the 34th (Caps 2nd). A few of my others picks might be off a spot or two, as I just eye balled it a while back.

Last minute trading and general draft chat. Doesn't run on my current version of Firefox for Mac, but runs just fine in Google Chrome.

EDIT: Actually, scratch that. Can't get it to run in any browser - Google Chrome it opens but I can't type to log in. I get missing plugin (no plugin available) form Firefox, and Safari just sits there with a link to Java's software page, but no content. Which reminds me, didn't we end up using a different chat tool last time around? I can't remember who set it up... Ryan? Sean? Do we have a link to that somewhere?
Have you run Software update to get the latest version of Java? Just came out a few days ago

Right, Tony. Cheers Tony!

Unfortunately, I can neither activate nor re-activate the object (Command clicking or otherwise) - it says I need a missing plug-in for the media on the page to run, and when I run a search it says that no matching plug-in can be found.

Yep, I just double-checked - my system is current.

EDIT: nm, got it running in Chrome now. Don't know why I couldn't type to log in before, but it's working at the moment. Weirdness.

Wild looking to trade some or one defensive prospect for picks in the first three rounds.

#1 on the list is Tim Erixon. Looking for a 1st (and maybe more depending who is left on the board and how high the 1st is)

Blue Jackets happy with Day One haul of... um... one player. But he's a BIG player (6-5" goalie Anthony Stolarz). Size matters, right? That's what women tell me, anyway.

In other news, the Jackets are interested in some picks in the 4th round, for those teams looking to unload. Drop me a line!

Hate that I missed the live portion guys. I look forward to it every single year. My hours have been really messed up from being sick all week. Can't wait to see the results of the list submission!

Spelling is as per CSB - perhaps Teddy "Americanised" his name when he came to Shattuck-St. Mary's.

If anyone wants to add a 7th for a pick next year (6th or 7th round) let me know. I have 1 pick left and don't want to bother with a list.

I haven't seen them on any draft rankings, but Zach Franko and Matt McNeely were selected last year by me in the HFNHL but went undrafted in the NHL.

Myles Bell was drafted by Flyers next year so this year don't even think about it.
