Oh, I've never dealt with him directly either. Though, I've seen e-mails from those that have. He's a smug jackass with zero communication skills, which is funny since he's the head of Communications...
To blame a fan for "invading the privacy" of the USHL's head of officiating and officials after they
publicly posted on Facebook that "officials dont like to see goals in Cedar Rapids" is seriously mindblowing. He even went on to call the fan's concerns "ridiculous". Yes, the concern of your fans when your officials say they literally do not like to see scoring(something you know...officials can have a bit of control over in a game...) in a certain arena is "ridiculous". Complete assclown.
I've read other quotes that Werger made to Ryan Clark, that...I would hope...he thought were "off the record", which were all basically an "Eff You" to the fans, which Clark posted on the internet. Can't find them right now though. Don't have an ounce of respect for Werger.
I'd like to hear your issues, to be honest, because I probably share them as well.
As someone who has experience working with the QMJHL, the USHL by comparison is honestly a joke in terms of organization and professionalism.
