Let's not fool ourselves into being overly-PC here. There is nothing inherently racist about saying that in Washington, he is best to stay out of black neighborhoods. Washington is pretty ghetto, and most likely very dangerous for a white foreigner late at night. If you didn't feel uncomfortable walking through a project housing neighborhood in a big city as an unaccompanied white man in his 20s, you should be on Darwin's List.

From what I understand... he took a wrong turn & ended up in the projects, 4 "locals" started shouting at him and he peeled out of there like a bat out of hell.
