50% of getting views on a yt vid involve how good you can get the video out and advertise it and your channel. Pretty much like anything in life.

25% of it is the actual video. Stupid stuff gets lots of views if you know what to do (Name of video, how it looks, content, tags etc..)

25% of it is luck. Your vid could be a hit or miss depending on when you upload it etc...



There are some really good videos on youtube with less than 1000 views or even less than 100.
