Poland: Are there any hockey (hockej) broadcasts in Poland?

Hi,

I've settled into my temporary stay in Poland but have so far not had any luck finding any hockey broadcasts on TV. At this point, I would consider any hockey, no matter what league. I have INEA as my cable provider, but so far have not seen any hockey on TV in 6 months.

Can anyone recommend a channel or time to keep an eye on for hockey?

TVP Sport transmits games of the polish hockey league and I think also matches from the WC. There is also the Internet.

It is hard to find hockey in Polish TV.

I do not know how it will be this year, but World Championships are usually broadcasted by Polsat Sport, almost every game live. Besides the Olympics it is the only chance to watch good hockey in TV.

Level of the polish league is awful, if you are used to watch NHL hockey it would be painful to watch PLH games

And in case you would be interested in watching NHL PlayOffs - then it's ESPN America channel which provides it across continental Europe.

This N 'thing' at the list = satellite provider. The rest -> cable TVs ...

Thanks all. I'll keep an eye out for the WJC's or something else I guess. I've tried a few "informal" internet streams of NHL games (when I've been awake), but the video quality has been so bad it's not worth it. I could subscribe to NHL Center Ice, but decided I'm just not going to bother this year.

Besides, I really should be spending more time trying to learn more Polish I guess. Right now, I still know less than a two year-old.
