No doubt hey, he's always talked out of the wrong side of his mouth. Samuelsson, Kasparaitis, he welcomed players like this on his team with open arms. Now Cooke, give it up already Mario.

This is the series to watch out of all the quarter finals matchups! I can't wait for it.

God I love the playoffs!

why are we talking about the late hit again? on that note... I think we should put all our plugs out there for this saturday and rest the big guns... no need to have them hurt before the playoffs

Pens in 5. Highest scoring team versus one of the worst goaltending tandems doesn't equal a long series.

1) I love open ice hits. I am saying Laviolette was under the impression that Vitale was sent out to injure someone - whether or not that's true, I don't know - I was not on the bench. In thinking such, this is why I think he was so upset.

2) Yes, I agree. That doesn't mean I don't love what Torts said. There was a ton of truth to it. I don't like when everyone cries to the media but that doesn't mean I dont agree with what he said.

god I hope their goaltending becomes an issue again. as it stands though, that position could swing in either teams favor.

You just named 3 players out of the last 20+ years... You sure you dont want to go back to the 70s on this one?

Bryzgalov has a career 2.55 GAA in playoffs and this should create plenty of fun for Sid and Geno to pick him apart.

If only they had some goons that actually scared anybody. Go back and watch the Youtube of Shelley and Engelland. I think Jody is still bleeding.

Shall I pull out the numbers to show how terrible a playoff goalie Bryzgalov has been career wise or is this another case of "he's a Flyer now so that makes him instantly better".

Not really any need, in fact just one of those names would have been enough. Besides, the pens were the leagues doormat in 70's, nobody cared about them.

Hey man, I heard the Pens were begging for fans to buy playoff tickets.

I have it on video but I don't want to show it right now lol.

Playoffs

Bryz: 2.55 GAA, .917 SV%

Fleury: 2.52 GAA, .910 SV%

Man, I can't wait until Giroux and Co. light up Fleury in the playoffs.
