ugh I keep hitting the replay button on the Piñata album, there has not been one album this year that has stood out beyond the rest to me except this one.

Really ****ing hate Mac at the end of the record. But other than that, I had some Gibbs in '09 but really got into him when he toured with Big KRIT in '11. He's a stage monster, best live rapper I've seen. If you ever get the chance do. He does like half his set accapella and never misses a beat.

Gibbs is just a great rapper finally getting recognition and interesting beats.

Thuggin', Harold's, Shame and Deeper been out a while, but they are among the standouts. Thuggin's the oldest but I think it holds up best. ****sville is my favorite outside of those. I like Robes more than I expected to. Real is that big balls **** that I never expected to hear again. Pretty good record. But yeah, no need for posse cuts, and that's a strange one.

I don't think he's a good rapper. I have no idea why he's this famous and popular. The only thing of his I've ever enjoyed is his guest verse on Poetic Justice. I just don't see it. I hope I change my mind on this because Drake is everywhere.

"i could load every gun with bullets that fire backwards
probably wouldnt lose a single rapper"

i dont know how you can hear this and say he cant rap. maybe you dont like his style or something but to say drake isnt a good rapper is a good way for me to put people on my "has no clue" list.

  1. He's soft
  2. He's bubblegum
  3. He's not a rapper hes a pop artist
  4. He didn't "start from the bottom" like he claims
  5. He's a singer
  6. He's soft

or something like that

People hate on drake just to hate drake. Name me any other that is a versatile as him.

He can go from singing to rapping in a whim.

As evident in

1) little bit ft Lykke Li
2) The real her (which is one of my favorite drake songs)
3)Too much
4)Furthest thing
5) Marvins room

and even more to many to name

then you have him go hard in songs
1) worst behavior
2) pound cake
3) wutang forever
4) Tuscan Leather
5)lord knows
6)HYFR
7)Free spirit

again to many to name.

No one in my eyes is a versatile as Drake right now, and I listen to a lot of rap.

Kendrick is just as versatile and he's way better at everything.

Just because Kendrick is better doesn't make Drake bad.

Drake covers Rap, R&B and Pop all well. Like anyone else he has some songs that are great and some that a bad.

And there are songs of his in all 3 genres I like and dislike.

Classic. Suburban white kids telling rappers they aren't hard enough.

Kendrick isn't nearly as versatile as Drake. Kendrick can't sing (studio or otherwise) and he can't make good simp music like Drake can. Marvin's Room is a classic.

This times 100000. Why can't people just enjoy music and not have to **** on people for what they listen to?

Drake is doing big things for Canadian music through his label he should be celebrated not bashed by "real" hip hop heads.
