Did you guys find any article from GM/coach/president of Waterloo about goals in Omsk tourney? Or is it too early now?? I would like to read something from Waterloo stuff
The USHL website has a short article on the tournament with some comments...
Who knows? As I know organiser wanted to lure CHL team, Memorial Champion as first option. Unfortunatelly, it was decision of Hockey Canada and CHL which chose Sudbury. I have not idea what was the reason.
It'd be nice if Waterloo would release the roster they've brought. I have a feeling they'll be one of the younger teams in the tournament which could work against them despite the fact that they've got some good talent. They play CSKA in exhibition play tomorrow so this should be a nice test to see where they stand at this point.

- host city is again Omsk
- date 24 - 31 August
- only 8 clubs participate (no NT of Norway/Denmark)
- CAN (CHL team), USA (finalist USHL), Sweden/Finland/MHL=Russia (champion) + Czech, Latvia, Belarus
- Efimov said nothing about teams from Czech, Latvia, Belarus but I woudl say they will be the same like last year, so MHL clubs: Energie Karlovy Vary, HK Riga, Dinamo Shinnik
