I got an email a week ago saying Winnipeg Jets Fan Appreciation Day. Like 30 to 50% off clothing. I was thinking "Sweet I will buy some things." Then I looked at it and it said MTS ICEPLEX in Winnipeg Manitoba ONLY.
Why wasn't it on the shop.nhl.com site or official online Jets store?
I live in South Dakota USA, like 450 miles south of Winnipeg. I took a vacation to Winnipeg since I have never been there before. I went to my first hockey game back in April 2010. It was the playoff's, Hamilton Bulldogs vs Manitoba Moose. Bought a $40 front row ticket and had an amazing time seeing it go into 2OT. I was hooked watching hockey after that.
I went to the Winnipeg Jets @ Minnesota Wild this year and it blew me away! Had like Row 5 and saw lot's of action!
I was REALLY looking forward to buying LOTS of JETS gear. They're Jets fans in the USA. I met a guy living in St. Paul Minnesota rooting for the Jets.
I hope there is a online sale in the future for the Jets.

When was the sale? Was this on April 7? If so, then yeah, it was a pretty good sale. Managed to cop another fitted hat for 25% off. Thought about buying another jersey, but decided against it since I already have the home and away.
Kinda o/t but not really - does anyone know how long the Jets Gear store will have inaugural patches for?
Need to do a better job of communicating that. Should have been on 1290.

The sale was advertised, prominently in both the Free Press and the Sun, plus on the Jets' website and the Jets app.
I checked out the store at the Iceplex, picked up a plastic Jets stick for my kid. It was actually my first time in the Iceplex. Pretty great facility.
