i dont know, it's iffy. Hard for me to tell if it's intentional or coincidental. I think a fine is more appropriate here.

Purely intentional. His entire body (even leg) is heading towards the ground and his leg right by Schaub just "conveniently" extends the opposite way and kicks him in the balls?

It was obvious that Suh did it on purpose. He's a classless thug. One of these days someone is going to go for his knees or his head and severely injure him; and no one will sympathize for him.

I see a distinct kicking motion in the replay.

I think it would be a natural reaction to try to get your foot up to disrupt the QB as he's trying to throw. I don't think there was any malicious intent. No suspension.

You can't do that... it's a penalty for tripping if you intentionally use your foot or leg to intentionally trip an offensive player in the NFL... Therefore, your point is moot.

No. It should be a penalty but not a suspension.

Not sure how you make any comparison there?

Suh clearly extends his league to kick Schaub in the nuts. Are you saying if he went full-force into Schaub head-first, helmet-to-helmet; that you wouldn't call for a suspension? But instead, only a penalty for a H2H hit?

No matter how you twist it, it's obvious Suh kicked him. If he didn't, then his leg just defied the laws of physics.

i think its pretty obvious it was intentional. that is very clear. this is expected of suh.

also, i expect them to come down hard on him with his history. no one will feel bad for him. he was voted dirtiest player in the nfl what 2 or 3 years in a row for a reason.

my guess is suh gets 3 games.

I have no idea what point you're trying to make. Plenty of plays are penalties and aren't suspensions. Obviously Suh hits Schaub on his way down. I think it could very well be a natural body reaction to someone who spends his life trying to get his body in front of a QB. Same thing happens in other sports all of the time. He may or may not be intending to disrupt the pass play by getting his leg into Schaub, and that's a judgement call by the ref to call a tripping penalty on it. Regardless of if you want to call it a penalty, it's not a suspension. I don't see the intent there. It's unfortunate it hit Schaub in the balls, but I don't think it was intentional to hit him there.

And after looking at the play a few more times, I don't even think it's a penalty. It's an awkward fall. Unlucky for Schaub and Suh maybe could have done a better job keeping his leg down, but is just a reputation thing more than anything else.

Yes, but they aren't malicious. A holding isn't a big deal at all. Intentionally extending your leg the opposite way it's going to kick someone in the groin isn't your typical penalty

That's not a typical body reaction. That gif clearly shows his body is going one way and his leg conveniently comes up at the point where he can injure Schaub "accidentally"...

And what could he possibly disrupt? He's falling down to his knees. All he can do there is disrupt the play by making a dirty move (kicking your leg out at a player).

Perhaps Schaub could "Suh" him.

Seriously though, it was a stupid play but not a dangerous one. A little toe-poke to a protected area, not a full wind-up kick. Suspension unwarranted.

A guy is throwing a football, any limb you can get in the way could help disrupt the throw.

Again, I don't see anything malicious about the play. If it wasn't Suh nobody would be saying a thing. Much ado about nothing.

You obviously feel differently, so be it.

I'd want that guy on my team.

I think that he should get a fine, but only because of his prior history.

NFL officially says no suspension, but it could still get a potential fine.

I don't get how this would be a fine. If the league deemed it accidental he should get nothing. A fine is tantamount to the league saying it was "accidentally on purpose".

If Suh intentionally meant to hit Schaub in the balls then he's Chuck Norris. Ever since the media has caught on to Suh's dirty play style he hasn't been the same. Right now he's playing very good for a DT, but this guy should be unstoppable if it weren't for his state of mind. I honestly think Suh thrives off of his aggressive attitude and play and ever since he's tried to tone it down, he hasn't been the same. It's also pretty funny hearing people say they would never want him on your team, because if you had him, you'd never want him to leave. People forget this guy gets double teamed every play and yet still has a major impact in the game. I honestly hope he keeps playing aggressive because I miss the Suh we saw two years ago. And lastly just to put it out there, Suh isn't an awful guy, he's actually very smart, he just handles the media terribly (like as bad as it gets). Sorry for the rant... Suh is just such a puzzle.

Did you watch PTI today?

That was exact phrase that Wilbon used

Suh needs to work on his run defense. He is far from dominant at this time.
