USFL plans to make a comback as NFL minor league

There really can't be a minor league affiliated with the NFL. First off, you have to hire coaches for the 8 teams or whatever, and NFL coaches aren't going to want to send guys down (let alone up and down), because they want their players to learn their system. If you're sending a guy to a minor league, he's playing someone else's system. It sort of worked in NFL Europle because it was an entire season played in the spring.

Most of those players on the TOP 25 teams don't even make the CFL, let alone the NFL.

dumb. lets say the top 8 NCAA teams play the 8 CFL teams. so the #1 NCAA team plays the best CFL team and so on. the CFL would get destroyed. many of the players in the top 25 have a shot at the NFL, so I don't see how they'd have any trouble making a CFL team

Only a few players on those top 8 NCAA teams are making the NFL. The others would than try making a CFL lineup only to have most not make the team. There is a reason why players like Eric Crouch and Graham Harrell do absolutely nothing in the CFL.

I'm assuming you've never watched a CFL game since you live in America. I don't blame you for that, but as someone who watches NCAA football every Saturday I know the NCAA team would never win. It's like comparing the KHL vs the OHL. Clearly the most top players are in the OHL but a large percentage of the team is never playing professional hockey again in their life. It comes down to grown men vs teenagers which in almost every example the men are going to win.

that's a good point. ncaa players for the most part are a few years older than ohl players, but i see what you mean.
