Don't have the link for it but I just saw on our news that the Bulls have signed Defensemen Marty Lee. He played 4 years in DIII @ Elmira College.

Totally sad, but totally true. A lockout would be the best case scenario for the Bulls first season.

Worcester has 16 (NHL contract) + 4 (AHL SPC) players on the roster as of today, and that's before some of the locked out players may be able to sign AHL deals (i.e., older than 22, etc.).

So, they could be getting a few really good prospects that there isn't room in Worcester.

AHL training camp doesn't open for about a week. ECHL training camp opens I think 9/28.

the Bulls had their first game ever last night against, soon to be rivals, the Stockton Thunder. It was a free preseason game. Apparently attendance came in around 5k. Not too bad considering it was underpublisized and on a Wednesday. We had a great time. It was my first time at an ECHL game. I wasn't prepared for how scrappy it was going to be. You could tell all these kids were really fighting for ice time. EVERYONE was finishing all of their checks. There were a combined 85 shots on net. SF eventually fell to Stockton in OT, but not a bad start for a team that's only been playing together for a week. Can't wait for opening night next Friday. It also helps that the Cow Palace is only 10 minutes away from my house
