He's on the 4th line right now... I think Ducks fans would like to have him back , but I'm not sure if LA would want to send him to a division rival. I kind of hope for his sake he does get traded there...

Ducks would give nothing of value. Penner's value is at an all time low. Ducks would not offer anything significant especially to the Kings. Don't see a trade here. If Selanne retires maybe he'll sign as a FA for cheap. Other than that.. No thanks!

Perhaps the Kings can trade him for free like what the Phillies did when they traded their minor league pitcher to the Angels for nothing. Honestly we don't need Penner back.

Now, yeah. You'd be totally mistaken. I remember being shocked that I ended up in the minority of people who didn't want to bother giving Penner a second chance as far as a year ago.

That said, Penner has no room on our team the way we have it set up. I'd give Etem a continued look on the roster before I consider Pancakes again.

A late draft pick, if even that since his caphit is 3.250M. He is a UFA, but it's not even worth the hassle. He's been a healthy scratch, and nothing has changed, don't see why a trade would do anything useful to his career at this moment. Not producing, and is slow.

Anaheim has options within their own system to play with on their roster, rather than picking up deadweight. Not worth Anaheim's time, from my POV.

Me personally, I say no thanks to Penner right now. Now after the season is over maybe ,but the Kings wouldn't get much in return (of course that is if the Kings resign him before he becomes a UFA). I just don't see where he would fit in right now, plus I wouldn't want to mess with the chemistry of the team.
