When was Kessel in a fight?

Having a couple tough guys on your 4th line / 3rd pairing doesn't make you a tough team.

I consider "toughness" players that are tough AND can actually play hockey. Most of the Leafs toughness is on the 4th line, and bottom pairing defensmen.

When the Leafs have their fourth line on they're definitely tougher, but the Bruins are tougher in their top six AND they can score. With that said, going by my definition I take the Bruins easily.

Boston is tough top to bottom. This isn't even a close question, and that'll become even clearer as this series moves on. When Toronto has to play Orr et al. to keep up with the Bruins physicality, it'll show on the scoresheet.

I don't know about /series. The Bruins are beatable, but you have to be willing to get your ass kicked to do it. First and foremost they need Kessel to use his speed, and need to create some space for him. Taking a big hit to get the puck deep or to avoid a neutral zone turnover would go a long way.

Kessel is completely ineffective when Chara is on the ice.

Boston hands down. Toronto has better Goon's but Boston's core lineup is tough with the exception of Seguin.

Leafs will need to utilize their speed to win this series.
