I know Roman can afford to bail them out, but I'd love to see the look on his face if he loses out on tens of millions of pounds and sees his dreams of Champions League glory in 2013 finished before the season even starts.
Come on, when describing a Dutch footballer, the above adjective is totally unnecessary. It’s their natural state.

Exactly. I don't know what all the fuss is about. The way people are reacting you'd think it happened the other way around or van Persie got away with kicking, punching or stomping on him or something.

Difference between Gerrard and Adam in midfield is laughable. Too big to be real.

Apologies, you're absolutely right.

Mind you, I'd argue that Pinas wasn't flaky; just a bit limp.

I feel sorry for most of the healthy guys not in the starting XI because it's clear they (besides Kuyt and Bellamy) should get very little game time the rest of this season based on that half.

2 from a legend is good, Carroll and Spearing had very good performances. Pleased with the result of course.

Actually 3 . What a player.

To be honest, I really didn't like RvP the last two seasons and I absolutely hated that he was chosen captain. But this season he really has grown up, taken responsibility, and stopped majority of his cockiness.

Ronaldo is just crap, piled with talent, covered in crap. Doubt he'll ever change.

According to reports, RvP yelled "go ahead and time-waste now" to Krul after the Vermaelan goal in response to Krul's time wasting. Krul took exception to that and it resulted in the little hissy fit both had.

I can understand Krul's taking exception with RvP's comments. Krul didn't do anything any other keeper would have done in the same position when trying to earn his team an away point. Was it really necessary for RvP to come in and taunt Krul and rub his face in it? Did Krul over react.....probably? Should the situation have ever come about.....(read should RvP have just kept his mouth shut) should have never happened.
