It is and has been obvious for a while that Laviolette has his team set on what we are doing and they're exploiting every perceivable flaw we have like virtuosos. And then we make more and more mistakes when our players get less and less confident as things goes more and more sour.
I am still waiting for just ONE sign that Bylsma can do anything to change a series that is turning sour. Just one.

It's not so much that it's overrated, just that depending on what the end result is (or what it's about to be), it's the easiest thing to blame.
Again, DB is going to have to take a brunt of the blame here because that's how it goes, but when Staal has the puck 3 feet from the blue line and half ***** a clear that ends up in our net, I can't blame that on any sort of game planning. Same goes for Lovejoy having 359 degrees of options to make a play, and using the ONE angle that's being covered by Couturier.
I remember us both dreading the Martin signing as soon as it happened, and Orpik's ALWAYS been erratic, save for those two playoff runs. We can justifiably rant against the coach, but we have some significant flaws in our lineup, namely the defense.
And I know you agree with me on Fleury and always have. He's a good goalie in a league filled with good goalies, and far from elite. Yes, he's been hung out to dry, but at the same time I want him to make ONE ****ing save when we need it.
Rinne last night? Now that's elite.
If we're going to go after the coach, I think we should be going up to the GM's door with torches and pitchforks.
