I thought Prust was always a winger? Anyone know how he is on faceoffs / playing center?

2010-2011 took 9 won 4
2009-2010 took 31 won 13

I wouldn't come to that conclusion, remember Plekanec is not practicing yet.

If Prust is practising at C with Plekanec out and White isn't, it seems likely that's the first thing they are going to try. Not that they are necessarily going to keep with it.

MT made it clear in his PC he loves versatility from his forwards and he's wanted to try Prust at C since the summer to see what the result would be.

Bourque - Eller - Armstrong
Moen - Prust - White
Nokelainen/Dumont

Who are the four centres with Plekanec gone?

Reports indicate that Gally is looking really good and this team could you an injection of talented youth.

I thought he would play his 5 games and go back to Sarnia. I know it's early, but I'm hoping that he actually makes the team.

I like these forward lines:

Pacioretty - Desharnais - Cole
Galchenyuk - Plekanec - Gionta
Bourque - Eller - Armstrong
Moen - Prust - White

Can't wait until Saturday.

Pleks is versatile, but maybe not THAT versatile.

In practice they had DD, Eller, Prust and White as the Cs. Plekanec likely pushes the last 3 back so Prust is final center and White is the spare C/4th RW

But I'd figure that for Galchenyuk, Eller, Prust and White, where you play in the starting lineup is going to depend somewhat on camp.

I think Galchenyuk is going to make the team even though I would want him to go back to the Juniors and develop through the AHL.

So...

Pacioretty - Desharnais - Cole
Galchenyuk - Plekanec - Gionta
Bourque - Eller - Armstrong
Moen - White - Prust

Markov - Emelin
Subban - Gorges
Kaberle - Bouillon

Price
Budaj

Extras: Nokelainen, Leblanc, Weber and Diaz

I hope Subban get's signed!!!

How long in the AHL? You do realize that a full year in the AHL would mean we wouldn't see Gally with the big club until the 2015-2016 season?
