My oldest halfbro is a fan too, even though he lives in London.

Dragged me with him to watch a game, almost 10 years ago already though. YNWA is amazing live.
I'm not really a fan of any team, I sort of lost interest when I "retired" myself almost 7 years ago (I watch games sometimes thou). I played 7 years, 4 of those served as captain. 6 months before I left, our old coach was replaced by a new one whose twin sons played in the team. From the very beginning, he seemed to have a some sort of attitude problem towards me and piled everything (and I mean EVERYTHING, in a game where our regular goalkeeper was sick, one of the d-men had to play G and so a lot of goals were scored against us, I scored 4 goals and we lost 5-4- yup, that was my fault after the game..) as my fault. This ultimately led to me being stripped off the C, and the final straw was at a practice (don't remember the details nor why the argument started, but I came pretty close to punching him) at which he pointed to the door and I never looked back (originally I took a sabbatical in the hope of a new coach, but it took 3 years to happen and I thought I'd be too rusted after such a long time away).
The funny thing, a few months after that incident the coach begged me to return because of their struggles to score goals after I left.
