You could definitely tell the amount of work that went into it. Great job by everyone who put it together.
I must say I was ready to get $5 out and the girl said they were free - I was blown away.

One note on the UNB page, it is mostly a rehash of the material I have on my site. I don't care if they didn't credit me - that's why I created the site, so people would get it right. However, I would have appreciated a request for the Mark Jeffrey picture and the B/W single player picture - instead they went with low-res images they copied off the site.

Also - the picture of the single player isn't a UNB player at all. I photoshop'ed a picture I found on the HHOF site when I first built the history page 10 years ago. I didn't have an 'old' picture to use, so I manufactured one.

Yeah...because that was a completely new concept that hadn't been done the previous 3 times UNB hosted...

BEARS IN THE NEWS

seems they need to have more $$ to stay with the big boy(s).....
http://www.edmontonjournal.com/sport...294/story.html

***** they need to stay in the news in edmontown, Oilers and Oil Kings are making them almost irrelevant!
U of A athletics is a media after thought these days, and they are out of money again? might be a little panic there, I know we have slid of the face of the sports page with the Jets. Cant imagine how having the Bombers on the U of M campus is going to be of any help to Bison FB or any of our no profile teams?

Sounds an awful lot like Dalhousie's reorganization to me, I knew it!! I knew somebody else would follow, though a little surprised that it is them.

Maybe we could see more of this with other teams if Alberta is finding a way to do it. Feel bad for the full time assistant being bumped down to part time but thats the nature of university hockey. Only so much money to go around.

UQTr has announced that Jacques Laporte won't be back next year as coach of the Patriotes.

No replacement has been named.

If yes, it hasn't been revealed so far.

As per Laporte, it was his own choice. He wanted a new challenge in his life.

Maxime Langelier Parent and Francis Verreault Paul of McGill will be moving on to pro as expected. Langelier Parent has signed a pro contract with Norfolk (AHL) and Verreault Paul is on a tryout contract with the Hershey Bears (AHL).

I expect Dorion to be next. Maple Leafs showed him interest previously.
