It's more so directed at people that call him a #3 or overpaid. Yes, he makes mistakes but he's playing top pairing minutes and doing better than Hamhuis at it this season. Not to mention the point totals.

Edler plays a ton of minutes and has plenty of good moments and some bad moments. That ratio will only get smaller as he continues to progress. Patience is a virtue, he's still young.
