Sure, he had a good season in Phoenix.

Keep in mind how Bryzgalov has performed not just in Philadelphia, but over in the KHL. Phoenix made him look way better than what he was.

For a one season rental? Good luck with fetching that price tag. I understand he is still one of the best players in the world, but the proposal was in response to the other poster suggesting Datsyuk might be made available if he showed no interest in signing an extension (he will be 36 when his contract is done). Whether my proposal is good enough is open to debate, but suggesting one season of an aging star is worth an up and coming star who is still in his teens is completely ludicrous.

Oilers don't have the right assets to trade for Datsyuk. All of your good players are still very young so I doubt they'd give one up for 35 year old forward. But you have to keep in mind that Datsyuk is still one of the best players in the world, so your not gonna get him for Gagner/Paajarvi/Hemsky and a 2nd.
