Yep, Anchorman, Hot Rod, and Dumb and Dumber are the movies I quote most.

Liked the first one, but always worried they are trying to get lightning to strike twice.

I despise Will Ferrell but even I got a couple laughs from Anchorman.

But there are alot better comedies out there.

There is actually two teasers, one is on funny or die and it is far more funny

Generally speaking I'm extremely skeptical of sequels. I'll wait and see with this one as well.

I suspect the sequel will be savaged by critics but make a buttload of money.

It's not cyclical at all, IMO. There have always been a chunk of guys who think it's the most quotable thing ever, and a bunch of other guys who think it's stupid and overrated. You don't expect the guys who dislike it to post regularly in a thread about its sequel.

I bet if you post a poll on the main board and made everyone vote, then compared that to two years ago, you would see the same kind of division.

How vocal people are about it might be cyclical.

hfboards isn't one person. it's cyclical in the sense that posters with varying opinions come and go, but not in some groupthink manner.

also, anyone that doesn't like what i like is a "hipster"

New trailer (teaser) up on IMDB.

Not feeling good about this one already boys. It already seems like the forced comedy of post Talladega Nights Ferrell.
