If he intentionally flipped it to himself (which I don't think he did) then that would be one of the coolest goals I've ever seen!
He was attempting to flip shot the far top corner, missed it and tracked the puck in the air to get the 3rd attempt. Either way, attempting a silky-mitts flip shot in tight then potting the backhander is a sick way to get your 1st goal in the NHL.
Because KHL is a better league than AHL. If he can make it in the NHL this year - excellent, stay there, do your best. If they send him down again, there is nothing more he can learn overseas.
He is too good to play in the KHL his whole career, expect him to be a regular from the beginning of next season and he will be a top6 player in 1 or 2 years so no way he will come back to Europe, it would be dump.
