Vanek's pass is much more impressive, as it happens while everyone is moving, and it happens much faster.
Kane is standing still at the point on th PP, and he backhand passes it to another player standing still.
Vanek recieves the pass while driving to the net, acts like he's going to make a move on the goalie, and no look back passes it to Pominville, who is also moving towards the net. How does Vanek even know where Pominville is? You can't explain that.
