It doesn't matter who represents DZ. Based on his numbers,he will get a good raise from his current cap #. DZ is represented by Mark Guy of Newport Sports. They have 20% of the players in the NHL.

None of the other players took discounts. They shouldn't take discounts.

There were issues of immaturity regarding DZ but his play has answered those concerns.

we have the best record in the NHL and given how well our team is doing, i think that gives us a little leverage in negotiating

3 Years at 3.25 mil per. There is no way he deserves more than Girardi or Staal.

Think he'll get a Girardi-esque contract. Worse defensively but much better offensively.
