You don't remember his two first years with us then, he was a rock defensively and he was the second most physical of our regulars defensemans, behind Komisarek. Always been a good shot-blocker.
The the last two years, age and way too much ice time changed his game to be more careful and less physical to minimize errors and still be a reliable guy defensively.
He always has been good to move the puck out of the zone and make good passes.
Anyway congrats to Spacek, he was a good guy, he had a pretty impressive career and I always protected him, because he was doing a good job defensively and not enough people were recognizing that, but he still was kind of a deception and I didn't liked when he thrash talked the organization.
