Maybe Bishop + Zibanejad? Maybe also 1st?

Salary doesn't seem important as Florida needs him to make the floor and Ottawa has plenty of space remaining.

Not true. Campell's Achilles tendon >>>>> Karlsson's, at least right now.

Florida needs him more than you're going to give up to get him. Seriously, they NEED healthy d-men right now with Jovo, Weaver & Kulikov all out and Campbell has been their #1 guy for the last 1.5 seasons so they value him more than in a trade.

Campbell doesn't get the credit he deserves for 2 reasons#1 his salary #2 he plays in Florida. As I Jet fan I get to see him a few times a year and he is an incredble player. When he has the puck you know the Panthers are safe. For a cap floor team who doesn't care about the salary Florida has a great player. You would have to give up half of Ottawa's future for this guy.

You have to think about both sides Hossa.

Florida has Markstrom. Theodore and Clemmensen are there. It's the EXACT same situation as it is in Ottawa. Florida doesn't benefit here.

These kind of posts are hard to find, thank you good sir.

We can all just hope he can keep his play up like for example Timonen has, the deal does take him to a respectful age of 37 after all.

Soupy gets too much flack for that contract. Honestly I would of loved him on Toronto would of been a solid partner for Phaneuf (Assuming they could of shifted Phaneuf back to the right side.) If it were not for Seabrook and Keith being studs and the cap problems he would most likely still be back with Chicago.

Yeah. I think Campbell is easily one of the most underrated defencemen in the league. The guy is the engine of that Florida team. Plays huge minutes, and he's the guy more often than not driving the play in the right direction.

The big contract haunts him as far as fans perceptions are concerned, because frankly it's an enormous cap hit...but he's not overpaid by a huge amount when you really look at what he brings to the table, the way he makes his partners better, and the production you get out of him. And he's a valuable part of that Florida team.
