No. I stayed through the bad years before. I'll stay now. One year where the team is utterly unlikeable and inspires no faith whatsoever isn't enough reason for me to throw in the towel. Not after so many good years.
I love the Red Sox. I hate this Red Sox team with a burning firey passion for what they're doing to the Red Sox. And it grows hotter with every passing game.

I dont hate this team. It is nothing like the 04 or 07 (my personal favorite team) but there are still a LOT of great guys on this team like Youk Ellsbury Pedroia who put everything they have into the game. Say what you want about Kevin but when he gets out he shows his anger unlike Manny who would walk away not giving a crap
I love the team, but I hate the bullpen I will be honest
I hate this team. Too many leaners, not enough lifters. I hope they can find a way to do something to inspire some confidence. The franchise does not deserve to have to watch this.
They should line up Cherington, Lucchino, Henry, Epstein, werner, Neil Diamond, and Bobby V up down the third base line and allow fans to pay 100 dollars to kick them all in the balls for the 100th anniversary celebrations

who do you hate? our plugs that have filled in for injured players? thats like saying I hate Dan Paille because he doesnt score 20 in a year
I do sincerely hate Aceves. He complains about his role and then just absolutely sucks

They'd make billions
I'd pay 1000 dollars to kick Henry square in the giblets w/steel toe alone. Team wins = find a camera and take credit! Team loses = now about that English soccer team of mine!
This is the first Sox game I've watched since the opener.
I'm all caught up. I don't like anyone's personality on this team. They need a coach to put them in line. Bobby V isn't that person. Cleam house. Been saying it for 3 seasons.

This team isn't built to win. It's being built to fill positions, and it shows. I'm a stat driven fan, but this franchise reliesy too much on numbers, and there's just things you miss that way. Numbers can't calculate heart. They also struggle with synthesis over multiple positions, and failing to take that into consideration has burned us repeatedly.
For example, by the numbers Youk is an adequate 3B, and Aviles an adequate SS, but between the two, there's not enough range to adequately cover the left side of the infield, making SS and 3B less than the sum of their parts defensively. When Beltre was bringing his gold glove range to third, we could get by with a guy like Aviles or Scoot, but once he left, that became a sucking chest wound.
Also by the numbers Gonzo is an elite offensive 1B but there's something that goes beyond the numbers that Papi has, that Pedroia has, and that even Manny, zany as he could be, had, that inspired confidence in him from those around him. Gonzo doesn't have it. I don't know what it is. I just know it when I see it.
And don't get me started on the outfield. Seriously we'll be here all night.
You know, maybe if we move Doubront AND Bard back to the bullpen (Doubront was decent there a couple years ago) and re-sign Wake, we could limp along until Daisuke got back. We'd have a better pen anyway.

It is so sad that, that actually sounds like a decent idea.
