The Jets love Burmistrov, and with reason. He's going to be a very good player. I suspect he's unavailable.

Oiler fans should never mention Gagner or Pajaarvi ever.
We all understand, Edmonton fans dont want em, but neither does anyone else. They have 0 value.
They are not worth Burmistrov, but saying 0 value is laughable.

I love Burmistrov's game. I think he's going to be a stud in the NHL for years to come and trading him now would be a terrible idea.

Gagner for Burmistrov is clearly not enough from the Oilers but this is absolutely ridiculous.
Burmistrov isn't even close to the Hall stratosphere, NOT EVEN CLOSE. It's ridiculous that anybody would think so.
He's a whole lot closer to Paajarvi than Hall not saying equal value to Paajarvi but definitely closer than to the value of Hall, this should go without saying.

I like Burmistrov and all, he always seems to impress when i see him play but he has a career high of 28 pts, lets put this in perspective.

Burmi is only 20 years old. Still finding his form.
The guy is really good in the boards, very good puck control. He'll throw hits, and most importantly he seems to command the attention of 1-3 opposing players. hes only just beginning. It is insulting to throw the two whipping boys of the Oilers this past year and offer them as gold.
Jets would be foolish to trade Burmi.

I agree with all that, i was pointing out how delusional that one poster was to think that Burmistrov's value is anywhere close to Hall's.

Hall and RNH are great.
Eberle is unbelievable.

Burmis game is different.
He is not the balls to the wall kind of player Hall is. I also respect that kind of play, but worry about the long term. Have the coaches been addressing that? I havent seen many Oilers games this year.

The only thing that removes the sting from a trade like that is Astroglide.

That's great. At 18, Gagner was a 45+ point player. At 20 he was the same. Why would the Oilers trade a consistent center for one who has just as many questions surrounding his ability to translate to the pros- and who has lived up to those worries by capping out at 28 points?

And Burmistrov > Hall? Yeah, you're right you haven't seen many Oilers games this year. Wow.

Wow, talk about team's fans overvaluing their own players. Burmisrtov is a solid young prospect, no doubt, but so is PRV, their value's are pretty close. I understand preferring your own player and wanting to keep him, but some of the fans in here are delusional. Neither are proven yet, neither is even close to their potential at this point. But to compare Burmistrov to Hall is absolutely crazy. Keep him, he's a good young player, no doubt. Just please, try and look at the situation from both sides. The Jets have a very good young team, I like a lot of their pieces, I can be objective, seems that some of you can't.

Nowhere did I say Burmi was better than Hall. In fact I was praising Hall. I said I wouldnt want Gagner or Pajaarvi for Burmi.
Thats great you love Gagner so much, keep him. I would take Eberle in a deal (of course) that someone else proposed, for Burmi and Hainsey, (because its a great deal for the Jets clearly) but you get a forward and much needed defenseman. But I would completely understand why you would never ever trade Eberle.
I also stated that Burmis strengths were not point based.
But you read whatever you want.

Great, because a 6'1 180 lbs soaking wet center is the one you want playing a power game. And you have concerns about HALL?

did you read what the concern was?
Burmistrov does not go full speed, like what I remember of Hall, so no im not concerned at all.
