Got to agree with you. Nothing wrong with what Lawrie did. He was pissed because an ump blew 2 straight calls in a 1 run game in the ninth. Lawrie obviously really wanted to win, and the bad calls made him blow his lid. It happens. Its not like he punched the ump or spit at him or something like that. He just let the ump know what he thought of his poor calls. He got ejected, now move on, nothing to see here.

Looked pretty close to being a strike. Sure even if did though it was a wrong call, no need to throw a tantrum.

But you don't throw your helmet at the Umpire no matter what.

Also lets not forget Lawrie showed up the umpire on a 3-1 pitch so he should have swung at anything close to the strike zone in the 3-2 pitch. You aren't any borderline pitch after showing up the ump like that.
