At least one more point for both guys tonight. When was the last time the top two picks both had such exciting rookie seasons?

Landeskog for the Calder

So 51 points, +23 (16th in the league) on a most likely playoff team or perhaps a borderline one where the 2nd best +/- is a 12, top 20 player in hits. I could go on, add in the fact that he's a 19 year old rookie and there's no way he doesn't win the calder.

Also he will eventually be a 65-85 point player, he is the kind of player that will captain a year for 15 years and win a couple cups, Colorado is incredibly lucky to have him and I'd add that even if RNH turns into a consistent 90 point player I think I'd take Ladesk"god" ahead, the intangibles are simply ridiculous.

Pretty much no shot at the playoffs for the Avs, but Landeskog would be my pick for the Calder if I was a PHWA member.

Isn't there another Landeskog thread on page 1 of this forum?

I thought there was. Maybe the Mod can merge this.

He'll win it most likely.

The only scenarios he won't win it is if RNH or Henrique beat him by around 10 points, unlikely at this point in the season though.

He came on way too strong second half of the season for the others to keep up with him IMO.

there's multiple of these threads around

..landeskog helps the avs playoff chances tonight (2 assists, would have a 3rd, but bouwmeester decided to put it in the net instead of olver), RNH not helping the avs playoff chances against LA tonight
