Exhibit A as to how hockey doesn't matter on ESPN:
Last night an ESPN program was discussing how the Detroit Pistons needed a hero citing the heroes on the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and no mention of the Detroit Red Wings. All this despite the Red Wings probably being the most succesful team in Detroit right now.
What's the max number of people gonna be? Any cash on the line or just bragging rights? Everyone pitching 5-10 bucks could make things pretty intense and exciting.
Also, you going to be running it on a site or just through stats/spreadsheet on your own?

Unlimited people, the format I am using is also a test for a similar format for next season. Playing for money would probably be to difficult to track. Not everyone is in Ottawa, and not everyone has paypal etc. I will just be doing spread sheets. Will have to finally learn how to post those tables

Yup, fair enough. The spread sheets are pretty easy to use, straight forward. Once you get going with it you'll see there's nothing to it.
As for the cash, I disagree but I do see your point. Everyone has online banking these days no? Why not just do basic e-mail money transfers? It wouldn't be the easiest thing to track but I'd be willing to help out. I just think it makes things so much more competitive and interesting. Either way I'm in though, was just making a suggestion.
Still not very clear on what exactly the format is but I'm sure you'll explain it better as we get closer to the playoffs.

Nevermind the fact that money leagues are prohibited here.
