Can't think of too many one for three or four deals that helped the team getting 4. I can think of quite a few that helped the team getting one though.

haha, yeah, probably true. I am really high on Jaskin. I would be reluctant to offer that package. My original package was Stewart, Cole and a 1st, then added Jaskin instead of the 1st. But man, I would love to see Tarasenko and Yak develop together. That would be a dynamic duo. Very expensive price for the Blues to pay though if Jaskin was added.

Stewart, Cole and Jaskin would be a huge get for you guys. 3 big, strong players that you need. 2 PF and a top 4 paring Dman that has a bright future. He's been great paired with Petro so far.

Isn't Tarasenko a RW? I don't think they'd work together.

The team getting the best player almost always wins the trade. There is no need for the Oilers to trade Yakupov.

And I am pretty sure I would look good paired with Petro. He's simply an outstanding player that makes those around him better.

As his agent shouldn't you be aware of your client's abilities?

A team should never move a high end prospect, unless it's for an overpayment, which this is not. Yak is gonna be elite, he in't going anywhere.

I do think Edmonton would be wise to try and package one of their top-end forward (Yakupov being the best option there) for a top-end defenseman. This isn't that trade, so I don't really see that it makes Edmonton better. I like Cole's potential, but the trade doesn't do enough to address Edmonton's needs. (This coming from a Blues' fan.)

I think Stewart ends up scoring more the next couple yrs while Yak adjust to the league so it wouldn't make sense for the Blues to do this. Stewy cut a bunch f fat, and looks like he has the stamina to keep up in Hitchs system which has me excited. We really don't need to upgrade on wing anyways.

I completely understand why Edmonton would not trade Yak for that package, better off keeping him and seeing if he pans out.

Edmonton needs to get bigger and stronger and Stewart and Cole do this. Cole would be great for the defense and Stewie adds size and scoring to their offense.

Blues get a scorer and a Russian player to play with Tarasenko.

PS- I am terrible at making trade requests, so be easy on me. This one just seemed like it works for both sides.
