Also, I've been seeing a lot of Wallace coming to Chelsea this summer. Or rather the deal is already complete.

I'm a MASSIVE Dortmund fan, but if Hummels was sold, the only team I'd want him to go to is Chelsea. That being said, I don't see it happening.
Wallace is a fullback (RB, but I've seen clips where he cuts in from the left ) and will only come over next season.

I've heard rumors of De Vrij or Lovren. Perhaps Cheikhou Kouyate is a possibility. Hummels won't join Chelsea if he does move in January. Why give up a chance at the CL for Europa League?

They might look at their prospects (Chalobah, Bruma, Ake), but I don't think they are quite ready.

Typical Benitez target: Albiol?

Sir Alex Ferguson says Robin van Persie is "lucky to be alive" after being hit in the head by a ball struck by Ashley Williams in the 1-1 draw with Swansea.

A bit of a over reaction?

Par for the course with that clown. I don't think Williams was trying to kick van Persie in the head at all.

I dont know, if he had kicked him in the backhead with his foot it could've gone really bad and it certainly werent far off.

You guys need to think further

It was pretty hard not hit him considering how close the ball was to RVP.

And if he pulled out a glock and shot him in the head it could've been lethal too, as long as we're talking hypothetical situations.

That's true, but all I think was on his mind was clearing the ball. But when you have people talking about him getting killed by the ball, hard to respond to that seriously, and he was never going to boot him directly in the head.

You'll have to download the match though, but the quality is superb.

RVP is so lucky to be alive tonight after almost dying.... That was a close call.

The way Alex Ferguson went on about it made it seem like Williams commited a criminal act (i.e., could have killed him).

Plus, a person of his experience and professionalism, as well as personal legacy, should not be making comments like these against the referee.

Worthy of a fine, IMO:

Quote:
“For Swansea’s goal it was a foul but the referee had one of those days when you are not going to get anything, so I wasn’t surprised we didn’t get the foul.

“It was a shocking performance. I know he is a young referee but that was disappointing that performance, it really was.”
I'm sad to say that I am very ashamed at a personal idol of mine. His actions hurt my heart; he was a perfect role-model.

Exactly what I said yesterday. It's an overreaction after not getting the result he wanted, but a result they deserved.

Although, to be fair, at that distance, if Williams had missed the ball and made contact with RVP's head...that can be dangerous. Paralysis or worse. With a ball, he might have a mild concussion though.

The FA have confirmed they will NOT be charging Swansea City defender Ashley Williams for his ugly clash with Robin van Persie at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.

Take that Ferguson

He kicked the ball in a moment of frustration, it hits Van Persie, apologies, nothing to see here, move on.

I'm sorry, but if this puts you off of SAF, how was he ever a role model of yours? Have you just now stopped ignoring his petty gamesmanship?
