Doing it in a scrum in a close game is one thing.
Doing it away from a scrum to a player leaving the ice at the end of a game already decided is another.
I'm sure a lot of things transpired before that incident but what did the Kings expect would happened? As far as I'm concerned, glad the Sharks pushed back and nice to see Burns bloody Regehr.
They got their frustration out and can leave it behind.
Nice to see that garbage linesman jump into the fight all by his lonesome, breaking the cardinal rule of handling a fight: never jump in unless both linesmen grab the combatants at the same time.
The refs have been a joke all playoffs across every series when it comes to physical play: they have now shown that they don't know what to do in the event their misconducts for breathing don't prevent a real fight from breaking out. Regher was loose and the linesman grabbed him, giving Burns freebies.
Burns got bailed out. Big time.
As for the series, SJ will be freaking the F out if they lose Game 5. Then it would be back to LA for Game 6 against a team that has won the Cup and then went to the WCF the following season. LA is known for winning the past two years while SJ is known for choking since their inception. This is going to get very interesting if SJ loses Game 5.
