75-89.

He'll hit 40 goals next year, especially if Burke can get someone better than Bozak to center his line.

I wouldn't be surprised if he got 120+ pts as he was on pace for Gretzky numbers in the first month of last season.

So Toronto is going to play a system that doesn't completely neglect defense to let the wingers float in the defensive zone thus preventing more goals from being scored while at the same time Kessel is going to improve from 82 points to over 90? Toronto fans are out to lunch. I think he'll be around 70 which is nothing to be upset about.

85 would be nice.
Hopefully he can reach the 40 goal mark

He won't put up as much as he did last year.

Leafs will play a more structured game under Carlyle.

I say he'll get 35 goals and 30-40 assists.

So somewhere between 65-75 points.

I think he could, just because he was playing injured for the last monthish of play, was missing Lupul for 15 games, and I think everybody has the mentality that Carlyle is strictly defensive and an offensive player can't do very well under his system. I think Perry and to an extent Selanne prove this wrong. Obviously I don't know what will happen, this is just my opinion.

I'm aware of his first month. I'm a Leaf fan and I adore Kessel. But saying he can put up the best numbers of anyone post-lockout because he had a good 10-15 games is ****ing insanity.

Pretty sure he's trolling, nobody besides him (and maybe Megan Fox) would post/agree with it...

no not a troll at all. I'm NOT saying he WILL do it. I'm saying he was on pace for Gretzky numbers and there are many articles from last fall about this. Very unlikely, but he had the pace in the first month regardless of what you think.

barely 4% of voters said he'd get 90+ points. The same amount of people think he'll get under 45. I guess HF is out to lunch too...

Makes sense... Giroux had 8 goals and 9 assists in 10 games in the playoffs where it is harder to score, averaging out to 66 goals and 74 assists (140 points) over 82 games... since the playoffs are harder to score in, I'm sure Giroux will hit at least 140 points next season.

Oh, and in 9 games Malkin had 19 points (6 goals and 13 assists) 173 points next season or if we tamper points, I'm guessing 150 points to be safe...

edit: Using on pace for is not a good example at all, unless that pace goes on for like 40+ games.... Consistency is important, I'm also obviously a huge Kessel fan if you couldn't tell by the username.

Carlyle won't let the team play pond hockey this year so Kessel's production should decrease to probably around 40-60 points.

Count how many goals Kessel scored by floating in the defensive zone.

Whenever it involves Leaf fans, lies and mass generalizations are always thrown around to make us look bad.
