Then, ten days later the council announces they have entered into negotiations with Jamison on a new lease agreement in an effort to agree on terms they are more comfortable with, given that the old terms were negotiated with the old council.

Then, we have absolute silence for months.

Jamison vowed that he’ll meet the deadline. “There’s a lot happening. We’re moving forward. There will be an announcement before the end of the week,” Jamison said Monday morning.

I think people are just reading into the "one way or the other" quote.

if you say that you will do something or that something will happen one way or the other, you are determined to do it or that it will happen, although you do not know exactly how One way or the other, I'm going to finish this job next week.

Heck it could be completely possible that the BOG votes no. It could be a possibility that we win the cup this year. It could be a possibility that we are granted permission to play on roller skates...
