This group has purchased one of the top young teams in the league with strong management, talent in the pipeline and a few additional draft picks. The team is in position to be a contender for a number of years. We'll see what the near future holds at the draft and early in the free agency period. Hopefully this will be the longest running ownership group and the most successful.

The fact that they sold for a relatively low price (by what I can tell) seems to be a good thing. It may allow for a little more cap wiggle room going forward. I hope so.

I believe, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, that Dr. Rick is not a part of the new Blues ownership. I believe that his investment in the Florida Panthers prevented him from joining?

Yeah he wasnt on the list of the owners, and I knew Strickland reported this as an issue months ago. I thought he said that Lehman was trying to sell his interest in the Panthers, but I guess something went awry. He might have had to take a loss to divest from the Panthers and invest in us, possibly making it too costly for a guy who probably wouldnt have had a huge share of the ownership.
