And France stunned host Spain with an awesome defensive performance, limiting the favorite to only 52 pts.
Just wow !

Demarcus Cousins got a tech for getting elbowed in the throat by Jonas Valasomething.

He punked him pretty good after, tho. Haven't seen someone flinch like that in a long time.

Serbia upset(?) France and will face USA in the final tonight. France beat Lithuania in the bronze medal game on Saturday.

Uncle Drew with 12 points already.

Edit: make that 15, 3/3 from downtown.

35-21 after the first quarter. USA with a 15-0 run. Actually a 27-4 run.

If the US can hit its 3's, no team has any chance in hell. They've definitely learned their lesson from a decade ago when they only brought guys waiting for their turn to dunk the ball.

Annnd that's my last basketball post for at least a couple years.

btw congrats to team USA. Best 'team' performance by them since the original Dream Team IMO, and on the 200th anniversary of the Star Spangled Banner no less.

This Team looked like a very good 'team'. For sure not the best 15 best the USA could have brought, but they bought in and played together.
