Just kind of skimmed the thread (and have at least half a dozen Flyer fans on ignore), so there might be more, but I only found two examples in like 20 pages.

The best players in the world perform on the biggest stages. Claude Giroux just had a 14 point series my friends against the so called 2 best players in the world. His first shift in game 6 set the tone for the series clinching win.
Right now Claude Giroux is the best player in the world.
There was a third that said Giroux was the best value in the league in terms of money for production, but, frankly, at the time, that wasn't that crazy of a thing to say.
Every other Flyers fan that I saw said no, to their collective credit.
Majority of the people saying "yes" (from my unscientific skimming) are Capitals fans, Russian hockey fans or New Yorkers. Crosby haters, in other words, not "Flyers fans."
No, it's more fun this way. Payback for the ignorance of other fans! Seriously though, it's amusing to see the poll change so much. I remember when the Philly duo had twice as many votes as the Leafs duo.
Yeah the percent of leafs votes were around 29ish and flyers had 65ish of the votes last time I bumped it.
