Since there is a thread about the KHL ongoing season, and another one about the MHL season, why not have one about the VHL season? I know it's pretty late for that, but organizations cycle players from and to VHL teams with players coming from KHL or MHL teams, and sometimes Pervaya Liga teams.
On a sidenote, hope that the VHL playoffs will be good this year around.
I just curious, how is the quality of the VHL league compared to lets say AHL,SEL and NLA?

I would say - comparable to Alsvenskan, more or less...weaker than leagues you have brought up. But as poorer KHL teams are being pushed down to VHL and international post-soviet teams are joining it will gain in power. I foresee, that VHL will become and equivalent of RSL eventually, and KHL will turn into some version of commercial pan-east-european league with 10-12 teams representing Russia.
does he have a Russian agent or something? he's not even ECHL quality, his stats in CHL are garbage (not to confuse with CHL as in canada juniors) and I doubt he is some sort of defensive presence as his +/- is negative 27.
