Yep. There are 3 Shark RFAs who need to get NHL deals (which can be submitted 2 hours after MOU signing), including Sheppard.

edit: is Shep signed to an AHL contract? Capgeek doesn't show one - how is he playing for Woostah?

Yep. Sharks had three RFAs who signed AHL deals to play with Worcester, including Sheppard.

I am assuming then there is a clause that voids the contract if they sign an NHL contract?

Their AHL deals "expire" when they sign NHL deal.
