really, you think him having no mass and no strength in his body had no bearing? ok...
I've seen bigger, tougher players get injured on even lesser, more nothing plays. It was simply a freak accident where he toe picked himself (or caught a rut in the ice) and went down hard into the boards, shoulder was direct point of contact. Anyone would've gotten injured there, big muscle mass or not. That's it, end of story.
Look, I've seen the guy play and up close. He's not that big. That' not really so much a concern, it's more like he plays a game that is the game of a bigger guy. Reckless player for sure. Halmo made sure he realized that. Wasn't the same after that hit, which, by NHL standards, was pretty commonplace. If he packs on some muscle and keeps his head up, I'm sure he'd be fine, but he ain't scoring 63 goals next year in the NHL. Sheesh, that's a stretch...
Oh, the Oilers have improved..by 1 spot in 3 seasons
You just quoted my post and replied to it with something stupid that my post was calling out in the first place.

So let's take a season stat...then remove a quarter of it in a manner that best suits our argument...and use that to try and discredit the Oilers defense.
