Newbury looked good early, but for a majority of the fight I would say McGinn won.

You can't really blame McGinn for not dumping it though. Newbury kind of instigated it and just started throwing punches first.

That's considered unfair, Tye McGinn landed some big punches (including uppercuts). Kris Newbury was hanging on, but he did land some decent punches.

The only reason he had his gloves off first was because McGinn didn't drop his gloves. Looked like he was just trying to goad the penalty till he started getting slugged in the face and was forced to drop them. McGinn was definitely the the trouble maker who caused the fight. Which is fine, but like Hartnell is known for, it's cowardly to start a fight like that when you wear a visor.
