I like Couturier better, but I think Schenn will be slighty better.

Both very different types of players.
Schenn is more physical, stronger in the corners, quicker skating and has a leadership quality about him.
Couturier is a freak of nature defensively and on the PK. Has a lethal wrist shot, is better positionally.

Couturier is a defensive monster, but I need to see his offensive game come around a bit and he needs to add weight. For now I think B Schenn is the safer bet.

Been more impressed with Couturier, especially after his playoff performance. Could be a Giroux clone in the making. Schenn's history of shoulder problems concerns me. He'll be the more physical player, but I think he'll also be more prone to miss chunks of games due to his brash style of play.

If couturier had Schenn's strength and skating ability , coots would be on par with spezza but with more D.
If couturier never develops athleticially like schenn then schenn will be better.
