That's all fine and good, it's still a lazy generalization. But it's the ESPN age so that stuff gets traction even when it's based in inaccuracies.

I too would be surprised if the Seahawks dominate to this extent next week in SF. They still have to be favourites tho.

Huge game for your niners tho, not nearly as big for seattle. I could definitely see a niners win.

Yeah its big since they have the Cardinals and Cowboys right behind them. 49ers need to focus on football and not get caught up in the rivalry stuff between these two teams but both teams are full of Alpha dogs so that won't happen. should be fun.

This game reminds me a lot of the 2009 game where the Saints hosted the Patriots on MNF looking to show the world how good they were. If the Seahawks go on to win the SB they will probably look back at this as the signature win of their regular season. I don't think they will lose another game home or road this year just riding the momentum from this.

Not all MNFs can be winners.

LOL. Saints team plane had mechanical issues and will not be leaving Seattle tonight. Team is having trouble finding a hotel and may have to sleep at the airport.

Talk about things stacking up against you.

Not sure if this was posted during the game or not but apparently Seattle fans caused another earthquake tonight with their cheering. Seismographs recorded a 1-2 magnitude quake during Bennett's fumble return for a TD.

listened to the game on the radio.

Seahawks guys are some of the worst i've ever heard on PBP. Pretty close to the Ravens radio guys.

I'm not sure why such a professional league has such amateur house radio hosts and announcers.

Seahawks dominated.

Next week vs the Niners is going to be interesting. I wouldn't be shocked if the Seahawks lose that game.

And btw.. my Ravens may just be sneaking into the playoffs ....

Saints will be unable to return to New Orleans until this afternoon at the earliest after their plane could not take off from SEA last night

The shortened week for New Orleans just got shorter. I'll take it.

Not even their plane could gain yards in the air

I know its just 1 game, but this should put some major doubt in the saints heads if they have to go back there.

I laughed.

Panthers have to be loving this though. Saints routine is way thrown off the last few weeks. Short week from Sunday to Thursday, then 11 days off, long trip to Seattle, a night spent in the airport because the plane broke down, get back home for another short week and even that game gets flexed from noon to 3:30.

Football teams thrive on routine. It's not an excuse but it is a factor. Especially late in the season when you want to be fine-tuning things and getting momentum for the playoffs.

I wouldn't bet against them if they make the playoffs. That's for sure. Although I'm not sure they have more magic left if they have to go to Denver again.
