Top 5 Prospects:

Nielsen(78) Top 4, M
Brooks(72) Top 6, H
Grundstrom(69) Top 6, L
Bracco(66) Top 9, M
Jets avy so you knew it was coming.

You gave Ehlers (89) and Nylander (86) yet they are the same age and Nylander has a higher PPG in the NHL.

Petan (80) but Brown at (77) when Brown had more goals in his rookie season than Petan has had points in a season. Brown also doesn't fail on physical attributes here either.

Copp (81) and Boyle (79) is obviously hilarious.

Trouba (90) with Rielly (87) is another joke.

Crazy biased rankings there.

Backstrom was a point per game player during the regular season(86pts/82gms) and during the playoffs(13pts/13gms) . He's probably been the best player on the team for the past 2-3 years. Leading the team in scoring will certainly get him a few more deserving nods. However, that type of offensive production is even more amazing after you factor in his strong defensive play on the top PK unit. Conversely Ovechkin finished the regular season with 69pts and 8pts in the playoffs, Ovechkin does not play on the PK.

This reminds me of a funny quote from the coach last year after Backstrom was finally selected for his first all-star game.
“It’s funny,” Trotz said. “He’s going, ‘I’ve never been. What should I expect?’ I’m looking at him, and I’m going, ‘You should have been there like ten times already.’”

It's because OV's a dirty player—that's why he's not on the PK.

He's and always been comparable to Crosby—remember that.
