He's probably pretty close in games played too...

Anyways, he's a good goalie but his value is severely diminished by his contract.

So does Paul Bisonnette. That doesn't make it relevant at all. Lou still has just as much history choking as he does winning.

Exactly. The post he was responding to said both players have a history of not winning, which nas zero to do with the player's ability. Not to mention Luongo has won 2 President's trophy, Olympic Gold, and a trip to the SCF. That's a lot more than vast majority of goalies in the league will ever accomplish in their careers, and Luongo's is still far from over.

If the rumours are true, with the new CBA, if a player gets traded and retires with his new team before their contract runs out, the team that originally signed the player to the contract is still responsible for the cap hit.

I'd say that significantly increases Lou's value

Why? Previously if the player retired the cap hit went away.

The team that traded for him would be unaffected either way.

They all have the same amount of Stanley cup rings as Luongo too.

Here we go again.

What's next, are you going to bring up the fact that your team has 5 cups and the Canucks have 0?

No need to. That's pretty much common knowledge around these parts. I was just stating something that is as equally pointless, childish, and obvious as your comment was.
